Relaxation Method With Self Hypnosis

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

There are many advantages of hypnosis, such as fast phobia cure, smoking cessation hypnosis, wake up early, boost confidence, etc. But, in this article, we will learn about relaxation method with self hypnosis.

Hypnosis relaxation methods have been proven effective for different types of stress-related diseases, anxiety, weight loss, and addictions. Hypnosis is about getting into a trance or hypnotic state in order to tap into your subconscious. During hypnosis, you feel as if your mind and body are asleep but you are actually awake. In hypnosis relaxation methods, your subconscious will be focused on a single thing which will be driven by the suggestions. Suggestions are used in order to create positive visualizations during hypnosis.

Self-hypnosis is one of the hypnosis relaxation methods wherein you can hypnotize yourself. This is a cheaper and more convenient method because you do not have to hire the services of a hypnotherapist. In self-hypnosis, you will have to take note of important things. First, identify a comfortable place and position for you. Comfort is important in achieving the hypnotic state.

Choose a time when you will be left undisturbed. The best time will be when there will be no distractions. And third, prepare your suggestions. If you already have considered these important aspects, you can start self-hypnosis. You can make use of relaxing music and a trigger which will be your focus and key in entering the hypnotic state.

Eye fixation induction is all about focusing your eyes on a certain thing. Once you focus on the spot, you can let yourself relax until you feel the sensation of heaviness in your eyelids. When you inhale, think that it brings calmness and relaxation. And as you exhale, think that you are letting go of tension and stress. Continue with this process until you enter hypnosis.

Two-finger hypnotic induction is used for children. The child will have to position the tips of the little finger and first finger on the armchair while the middle and ring fingers are extended. Tell the child that the first finger and little finger have gone to bed on the armchair. Then the child will be asked to focus on the middle and ring fingers because these are getting tired and want to sleep, too. Ask the child to watch the two fingers go down the chair. Then suggest that as the fingers do this, the child will also feel his or her eyes closing.

So, if you are feeling no relax, you may want to look into your heart and discover whether you are perhaps forcing yourself to do something you would rather not be doing and if you are, consider finding alternative options, such self-hypnosis. There are times, though, when even chemicals are not helping, and when it is useful knowing hypnosis.

How To Hypnotize Someone In Their Sleep

How To Hypnotize Someone In Their Sleep

Many have long been intrigued on how to hypnotize someone in their sleep. Is it possible? Can it really be done? Will it work? How can an unconscious person respond to hypnotism if he or she is sleeping?

This article will set everything straight.

British Medical Association defines Hypnosis as ?A temporary condition of altered attention in the subject which may be induced by another person and in which a variety of phenomena may appear spontaneously or in response to verbal or other stimuli. These phenomena include alterations in consciousness and memory, increased susceptibility to suggestion, and the production in the subject of responses and ideas unfamiliar to him in his usual state of mind.?, Medical Use of Hypnosis 1955.

Did it include anything about sleeping or how to hypnotize someone in their sleep? It did not because hypnosis while sleeping is technically impossible. For those who are unaware, they think that subjects can be hypnotized while sleeping since videos and live stage shows present hypnosis as making the subjects fall asleep and telling them to wake up afterwards. That is not to be taken literally. ?Sleep? and ?Awake? are just terms for the subject to perform a certain move while in a hypnotic trance. Just like ?eat? or ?drink? or any other automatic action a person can do when a certain word is heard.

Hypnotic trance is a state of mind wherein a person is in between being asleep and awake. How to hypnotize someone in their sleep is a fallacy because to hypnotize a person for therapy purposes, he has to be fully aware and conscious of what is going to happen. Then, proceed as planned and go into that hypnotic trance. As stated in the meaning, the subject receives ideas and suggestions from the hypnotherapist, which normally he or she do not really think about or tackle. The hypnotherapist, a person with experience on assisting other people through hypnosis, makes the subject comfortable enough for him or her to induce into a hypnotic trance and provides those ideas to the subject. The hypnotherapist does not make the subject fall asleep. He or she prepares the subject in a level so comfortable and peaceful so that the subject can concentrate and focus on the hypnosis as a therapy session.

How to hypnotize someone in their sleep is one of those misinformed philosophies that ignorant people talk about even if they know nothing. In this world, it is very important to read and understand before jumping into any conclusions. Hypnosis has scientifically proven its worth and usefulness in treating people with both physical and mental troubles.

How To Hypnotize Someone To Have A Better Life

How to hypnotize someone to have an improved personality is one of the main reasons why hypnotism is a good therapy practice. Other than self-improvement, hypnotism is also a tool in which faster healing, pain-relief methods and attitude checks are being instilled on the subject to result in a positive outcome.

Hypnosis involves two people, the hypnotherapist and the subject. The hypnotherapist conducts the hypnosis on the subject and it is imperative that the subject willingly accepts that he or she is going to be hypnotized. Any person can be the hypnotherapist if you desire to be. It just involves a lot of knowledge on hypnotism and actual practice on how to do it.

How to hypnotize someone to have a better being starts here; you as the hypnotherapist:
1. Talk to the subject before the session. It is important that both of you know your functions.

Subject must have an open mind about the hypnotism. He or she must have a specific problem to deal with so that the self-improving stage can be laid down. (Example: refraining from eating or blabbing too much and getting too angry when stressed) The subject must be able to trust the hypnotherapist for the session to achieve its objective. He or she must be serious about the ritual and focus all attention to achieve tranquility for the moment.

Being the hypnotherapist, how to hypnotize someone to have a better being is a learning process. A hypnotherapist must possess confidence and trustworthiness since these types of sessions are to involve powers of persuasion and privacy.

2. Start the session by making your subject feel very comfortable. Have him or her lie down on the couch or the floor, wherever the subject feels at ease. Tell him or her to look at one specific object in the room while being conscious of his or her own breathing. Big inhale and deep exhale through the mouth. Then say words like: You are feeling very relaxed. Your body is going away to a very far place. You are sinking deeper and deeper.

3. How to hypnotize someone to have a new persona commences like this. Press you forefinger and middle finger on the subject?s eyes to close it and tell the subject to sleep.

4. In a hypnotized state, you can now suggest actions that the subject can do to make himself or herself a better person. From the example, you can suggest:

? If you are feeling angry, instead of nagging, close your eyes, take a deep breath and count from 10 down to 1 before you respond.
? People around you will get hurt by your hurtful words, so, before you say anything, you have to think about the words you will be uttering at least 3 times.
? Rephrase your words into something constructive so that you will get the best out of the person you are talking to.

How to hypnotize someone to have a better understanding on their problems is not difficult if you know the right words to say to the subject.

5. The suggestive mode can go on until you feel the subject has acquired a lot of information. Ending the session is easy, just say ?When you hear, open, you will open your eyes and be awake. You will feel very good about yourself from here on. Open!? After this, you and the subject can discuss additional information about the session which can further help the subject on his or her self-development.

Free Hypnotherapy Scripts

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Using Google analytics People Building have been able to observe the information that people have typed into their search engine to find out about the NLP and Hypnotherapy trainings and resources we provide.

Currently, the page on our website which is viewed the most, is the page which contains our hypnosis scripts. Some of the Hypnosis scripts are free, and others that are more complex are reasonably expensive, and of course, you get what you pay for.

We are a company that provides Hypnotherapy training, and use hypnosis on the whole for therapeutic purposes only, so it is interesting to discover that the word ?hypnosis? feature as a more popular keyword than the word ?hypnotherapy.?

However, our hypnosis induction scripts could be used for both a hypnotist performing a stage show and a hypnotherapist who is using hypnosis for therapeutic purposes.

Personally, I prefer to use hypnosis scripts in the work I do. There is still, sadly, much confusion about hypnosis and its levels of safety. I have found it gives reassurance to my clients if they know that I have already thought about what I am going to say to them whilst in trance and that I then make a note of the script that I used on their personal file- so that if necessary, I can refer back to the work I have done with them.

It is easy to understand how myths and misconceptions have evolved from the use of hypnosis, it is to this day, a phenomena that we still do not fully understand. Just the other day an old friend called me from the days when I was working full time with children. When I told her about the job I am doing now she told me about a time when her son, then aged about 7 years old, accidentally temporarily paralyzed his cousins legs by inducing a hypnotic trance. He had been watching the famous television hypnotist, Paul McKenna and was inspired to try out the hypnotic skills. Understandably, the whole experience was a little surprising for the children and their mother, and gave them the impression that hypnosis is a force not to be tampered with. Of course, amongst sensible adults this is not the case. Hypnosis can be a very useful and safe way to make changes and listening to a hypnosis download can be a gentle introduction.

That is why we have made each of our available hypnosis scripts, into a downloadable MP3 hypnosis audio, which can be posted to you in CD format, or downloaded to your pc as an MP3. There is a vast range of hypnotherapy resources including, eliminating fear of flying hypnosis scripts, quit stop smoking scripts, nail biting scripts and confidence scripts.

In addition to the scripts we have, you can also request scripts that we do not yet have or you may like to learn how to write hypnosis scripts by downloading our e-book ?How to create excellent hypnosis scripts.?

Is It Possible To Attract Abundance With Hypnosis CDs?

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

As a life coach I have always advocated the technique of using affirmations to change your belief patterns and turn negative thoughts to positive. This is essential if you wish to change things in your life and attract abundance. However, sometimes our belief systems are so deeply rooted it is difficult to really dig out those old conditioned beliefs we may have about abundance; which is why I believe that hypnosis can be a powerful way of creating new beliefs on a much deeper level, and using hypnosis cds is the easiest way of doing this.

When we were very young we automatically believed what we were told by our parents, or those in authority, and those beliefs became part of our world view, long after we were old enough to realise that our parents were not always right!

This is why we may suffer from low esteem or lack of confidence without really knowing why. And it is why many of us struggle to make money no matter what we do. If you had parents that had negative beliefs about money, then it?s likely you?ve picked those up subconsciously. So if your Dad said that all rich people are greedy, how likely is it that you will become rich if you believe that you will be the very thing he hated? If your mother told you it was impossible for anyone from your street to ever be wealthy, you might find yourself struggling to achieve the wealth you desire.

Luckily, all of these beliefs, whether they are about self esteem, money, health or anything else, can be reversed. Life coaching, affirmations and positive thinking are all ways of doing this. But hypnosis is powerful, because it goes deep and affects us at a very subliminal level.

Over the past few weeks I have been listening to Create Unlimited Financial Abundance by Glenn Harrold, who is a well-known hypnotherapist in the UK.

Now, listening to this tape does not make money ?magically? appear (although?come to think of it, I have had one or two unexpected cheques?). What it does - and I can vouch for this - is subtly change the way you think about money, and opens you up to new opportunities. Just lately I have found myself doing things in a slightly different way, and I have definitely felt more positive about my ability to earn. And guess what - more work has started to come in and my bank balance is beginning to look at little healthier!

This is not going to happen overnight, I know. But with regular sessions with the hypnosis tapes I know that things are going to improve. I already feel abundant, and that is the best way to create more!
