Hypnosis - What It Is Able To Do - Just What You Have Been Looking For?

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

People i’ve talked to say that a lot of things can be achieved by placing mind over matter. That being so, you can see what individual hypnosis is capable of doing for you.

There are indeed a lot of benefits individual hypnosis can do for a person, especially when a person is determined to see things to the very end or committed to do things that he believes he can, then the possibilities are endless.

Even when a person believes that he can achieve what others, or sometimes even he himself, would find troublesome, he can actually do it if he just puts his mind into it.

So is the same thought process involved with individual hypnosis, which is a positive reinforcement of mental conditioning and beneficial thought paths.

Although it may be easy to say that positive thinking can produce a lot of good results, still the idea of injecting the mind to think that way may not be as easy as you think, especially when we are at our conscious state, especially when considering the pros and cons of each of our actions.

But with hypnotherapy, the mind can be convinced to do such things and work miracles when it comes to our positive mental conditioning processes.

Here are some of the areas where hypnosis can do wonders for the mind particularly with behavioral approaches and the positive mental conditioning process.

With hypnosis, even with self-hypnosis, we can increase our sense of concentration.

This is specially helpful when we desire to free our minds for focusing on what is really important for us and filter out other unimportant thoughts.

The concentration aspect has been found out to be specifically helpful for those who want to improve on social and people skills, conversation skills, memory and comprehension, creativity, focus and a whole lot more.

One’s personal outlook can also be improved dramatically by way of hypnosis, especially for those who wish to improve their personal well-being for the enhancement of their careers, professional and personal relationships, time management, anger management, positive mental feedbacking and focusing towards accomplishing goals.

Other breakthroughs for hypnosis also include testimonials on breaking people free from addiction, be it substance abuse, alcoholism, smoking or even both mental and physical dependency situations.

Hypnosis works through it by helping or guiding the person to believe that they have no need of such substances, like drugs for example, in order to exist and live a free and normal life.

It can also help in easing or even keeping a subject from getting lured by cravings, especially for recovering addicts undergoing therapy or rehabilitation.

Another bonus of hypnosis is the life-changing power in helping people get over their worries.

This is particularly true since phobias or fears, be it with the dark, heights, closed spaces, insects like spiders or frogs, you name it, those phobias live in the corner of our mind to haunt us whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Through hypnosis, those fears can be accessed and modified, using hypnosis methods that can eradicate irrational thoughts and fears, but leaving behind a more productive, neutral or healthy perspective towards those stimuli causing the fear or phobia.

Removing negative thoughts in the human mind is by far the biggest breakthrough that shaped the practice of hypnosis and give a good glimpse of what individual hypnosis can do for you.

How To Hypnotize Someone In Their Sleep

How To Hypnotize Someone In Their Sleep

Many have long been intrigued on how to hypnotize someone in their sleep. Is it possible? Can it really be done? Will it work? How can an unconscious person respond to hypnotism if he or she is sleeping?

This article will set everything straight.

British Medical Association defines Hypnosis as ?A temporary condition of altered attention in the subject which may be induced by another person and in which a variety of phenomena may appear spontaneously or in response to verbal or other stimuli. These phenomena include alterations in consciousness and memory, increased susceptibility to suggestion, and the production in the subject of responses and ideas unfamiliar to him in his usual state of mind.?, Medical Use of Hypnosis 1955.

Did it include anything about sleeping or how to hypnotize someone in their sleep? It did not because hypnosis while sleeping is technically impossible. For those who are unaware, they think that subjects can be hypnotized while sleeping since videos and live stage shows present hypnosis as making the subjects fall asleep and telling them to wake up afterwards. That is not to be taken literally. ?Sleep? and ?Awake? are just terms for the subject to perform a certain move while in a hypnotic trance. Just like ?eat? or ?drink? or any other automatic action a person can do when a certain word is heard.

Hypnotic trance is a state of mind wherein a person is in between being asleep and awake. How to hypnotize someone in their sleep is a fallacy because to hypnotize a person for therapy purposes, he has to be fully aware and conscious of what is going to happen. Then, proceed as planned and go into that hypnotic trance. As stated in the meaning, the subject receives ideas and suggestions from the hypnotherapist, which normally he or she do not really think about or tackle. The hypnotherapist, a person with experience on assisting other people through hypnosis, makes the subject comfortable enough for him or her to induce into a hypnotic trance and provides those ideas to the subject. The hypnotherapist does not make the subject fall asleep. He or she prepares the subject in a level so comfortable and peaceful so that the subject can concentrate and focus on the hypnosis as a therapy session.

How to hypnotize someone in their sleep is one of those misinformed philosophies that ignorant people talk about even if they know nothing. In this world, it is very important to read and understand before jumping into any conclusions. Hypnosis has scientifically proven its worth and usefulness in treating people with both physical and mental troubles.

Conversational Hypnosis Being Used For Crime

Monday, December 21st, 2009

This article is going to be about conversational hypnosis and how it can be dangerous when the wrong people use it.If you can execute conversational hypnosis correctly you can make people do what ever you want.

Derren Brown is a renowned hypnotist from the UK. He is regularly featured on national TV demonstrating his skills. One of the most amazing things I’ve seen him do is hypnotize a random person and then make them withdraw £5000 from the bank for him.

They went and did this oblivious to the spell that they were under. At the click of his fingers he then put the person to sleep and told them in 10 seconds time they will wake up and forget the last few moments of their life.

When the film was played back to the person in question they couldn’t believe that this had happened and they had no memory of it what so ever. This is an extreme example however. Derren brown is one of the best hypnotists in the world.

Unfortunately however conversational hypnosis is now being used for criminal activity. In the USA a man was calmly stealing from store tills by hypnotizing the cashier.

Once he had successfully hypnotized them he would ask them to fill up his bag with the money and then he would calmly walk out. The only reason staff became aware of this scam was because the tills never added up properly at the end of the week and CCTV footage exposed to them what was going on.

There are many other stories of hypnotists using their skills to steal money or to scam people out of money. What makes it such a perfect crime is the fact that the victims have no memory about it afterwords so it is hard to provide the authorities with evidence.

I personally have been studying conversational hypnosis on a recreational level. It is great fun to learn and put into practice but you need to be careful not to let the power go to your head and to make sure you stay on the right side of the law.
