Discover The Power Of Self-Hypnosis

We all have something in our lives we would like to change. Self-hypnosis is an excellent way to make changes easily.Self-hypnosis taps into the under-used power of the mind and focuses it so that your desires, goals, or even ‘nice-to-haves’ can become a reality for you. Interested? Then read on to discover just how easy it is to tap into this power and bring about that change you desire.

Two things are needed in order to do self-hypnosis.

1. A method for inducing deep focused relaxation i.e. trance.
2. Something you want to change.

Let’s look first at some things you might want to change. You may want - more confidence; the ability to talk comfortably to someone you find attractive; more money; better health; to feel better about yourself; to be more successful; to stop putting things off; to achieve a goal - it doesn’t really matter what it is as long as it is realistic for you. But be aware that what you have been capable of achieving in the past is no measure of what you are capable of achieving in the future.

After you have decided on the change you want to make, then you need to sit down with a pen and paper and do some work.

The work you need to do is to write down a statement that encapsulates what you want as if you have it already. You’ll know you have the right statement when you get a pleasurable emotional reaction when you read it. The emotional reaction is important.

Then you need to spend some time working on creating a mental picture of already having what you want. This mental picture MUST include a strong positive emotional response. When you create your image in your mind it must make you feel good in some way - happy, excited, joyful, awed…

Some people find it easy to create mental pictures in great detail others find it more difficult. However, I have yet to find anyone incapable of engaging in fantasy or daydream - and that’s all that is required of you in creating a mental picture - do whatever you do when you fantasise or daydream.

Now the really important bit.

What you do with self-hypnosis is to re-programme your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind has three key attributes:
1. It believes whatever you tell it
2. It doesn’t understand negatives
3. If you tell it something that isn’t true, it will make it true for you.

Your subconscious mind has no critical abilities. That is the realm of consciousness, and that’s why it takes at face value whatever you tell it. You can tell it in words. You can tell it in pictures. But the most powerful way to activate it is to tell it with emotions. But because it has no critical abilities you must always phrase words and images in the positive.

I am no longer poor.
I am not shy.
I am no longer a failure.
…all maintain the current situation.

Phrase everything in a positive way.
I am enjoying paying all my bills on time with money left over to go out for a meal once a week and a wonderful holiday twice a year.

Accompany this with images of you looking forward to the bills and putting them in the mail, or having fun on your holiday.

I am relaxed and comfortable in all circumstances and situations.
Accompany this with images of you having fun playing Frisbee in the boardroom with your managing director.

I am so successful that I’m now a success guru.
Accompany this with images of you sitting cross-legged on your yacht with a group of admirers eager for your every word.

These are just suggestions. What works best are the images and words that emerge from within you.

Making Positive Changes In Your Life In 30 Days Or Less

Do you want to make changes in your life? Do you want a detailed plan to help you make positive changes? Are you willing to commit to 30 days to make it happen? Do you want to do this without having to purchase some complicated self help program? Then keep reading, because I?m gonna give you an easy step by step method to get you started.

What is this method? It is through the repetition of positive affirmations. Now, I know what you are saying Oh, that affirmation thing again, but just here me out. Deal? It will only take a couple minutes out of your life to read this article and if it doesn?t work you have only lost the 5 minutes it will take you to read this because I?m NOT gonna ask you for money. I just want to share with you, how using affirmations can make a big difference in your life.

Let me just say that positive affirmations alone, will not create that change in your life, if you do not follow through. It all has to do with the universal law of attraction The law of attraction states that likes attract like things All thought has a vibration uniquely it?s own and positive thoughts bring positive results where negative thoughts bring negative results. We are constantly bombarded by negativity every day. Recent studies show that we encounter 8 negatives for every positive. This is why we must recite affirmations. So, that we are evening out the number of positives we encounter, so that they out weigh the negatives. Makes sense right? Good, let?s move on, shall we?

How long does this take? Experts say, it takes 30 days to change a habit and so it would be reasonable to believe that it would take the same amount of time to change our negative thoughts. Some people however, experience changes right away. The best measure is when you find yourself faced with negative thoughts like, Wow, I look fat in this, that you release that thought and replace it with your positive affirmation a couple times. This will help to even out those odds.

So, how bout it? Give it 30 days? If it works, think of all the great things you will be able to accomplish. If it doesn?t work, are you really any worse off?

Conversational Hypnosis Being Used For Crime

This article is going to be about conversational hypnosis and how it can be dangerous when the wrong people use it.If you can execute conversational hypnosis correctly you can make people do what ever you want.

Derren Brown is a renowned hypnotist from the UK. He is regularly featured on national TV demonstrating his skills. One of the most amazing things I’ve seen him do is hypnotize a random person and then make them withdraw £5000 from the bank for him.

They went and did this oblivious to the spell that they were under. At the click of his fingers he then put the person to sleep and told them in 10 seconds time they will wake up and forget the last few moments of their life.

When the film was played back to the person in question they couldn’t believe that this had happened and they had no memory of it what so ever. This is an extreme example however. Derren brown is one of the best hypnotists in the world.

Unfortunately however conversational hypnosis is now being used for criminal activity. In the USA a man was calmly stealing from store tills by hypnotizing the cashier.

Once he had successfully hypnotized them he would ask them to fill up his bag with the money and then he would calmly walk out. The only reason staff became aware of this scam was because the tills never added up properly at the end of the week and CCTV footage exposed to them what was going on.

There are many other stories of hypnotists using their skills to steal money or to scam people out of money. What makes it such a perfect crime is the fact that the victims have no memory about it afterwords so it is hard to provide the authorities with evidence.

I personally have been studying conversational hypnosis on a recreational level. It is great fun to learn and put into practice but you need to be careful not to let the power go to your head and to make sure you stay on the right side of the law.

Is It Possible To Attract Abundance With Hypnosis CDs?

As a life coach I have always advocated the technique of using affirmations to change your belief patterns and turn negative thoughts to positive. This is essential if you wish to change things in your life and attract abundance. However, sometimes our belief systems are so deeply rooted it is difficult to really dig out those old conditioned beliefs we may have about abundance; which is why I believe that hypnosis can be a powerful way of creating new beliefs on a much deeper level, and using hypnosis cds is the easiest way of doing this.

When we were very young we automatically believed what we were told by our parents, or those in authority, and those beliefs became part of our world view, long after we were old enough to realise that our parents were not always right!

This is why we may suffer from low esteem or lack of confidence without really knowing why. And it is why many of us struggle to make money no matter what we do. If you had parents that had negative beliefs about money, then it?s likely you?ve picked those up subconsciously. So if your Dad said that all rich people are greedy, how likely is it that you will become rich if you believe that you will be the very thing he hated? If your mother told you it was impossible for anyone from your street to ever be wealthy, you might find yourself struggling to achieve the wealth you desire.

Luckily, all of these beliefs, whether they are about self esteem, money, health or anything else, can be reversed. Life coaching, affirmations and positive thinking are all ways of doing this. But hypnosis is powerful, because it goes deep and affects us at a very subliminal level.

Over the past few weeks I have been listening to Create Unlimited Financial Abundance by Glenn Harrold, who is a well-known hypnotherapist in the UK.

Now, listening to this tape does not make money ?magically? appear (although?come to think of it, I have had one or two unexpected cheques?). What it does - and I can vouch for this - is subtly change the way you think about money, and opens you up to new opportunities. Just lately I have found myself doing things in a slightly different way, and I have definitely felt more positive about my ability to earn. And guess what - more work has started to come in and my bank balance is beginning to look at little healthier!

This is not going to happen overnight, I know. But with regular sessions with the hypnosis tapes I know that things are going to improve. I already feel abundant, and that is the best way to create more!
